We understand that divorce can be a complex and emotionally draining process. Our team of skilled attorneys has years of experience handling a wide range of divorce cases, including those involving complex financial arrangements and child custody disputes.

How Much Is A Fixed-Fee Divorce?

For eligible clients*, our fixed-fee divorce service provides a predictable and cost-effective option. The fees are as follows:

  • Applicant: From £750.00 plus VAT and Court fees
  • Respondent: From £375 plus VAT and disbursements

Please note that this fixed-fee service is suitable for uncontested divorces where there are no significant financial or child custody disputes. Not all cases are suitable.

The Court fees that apply as of 01 October 2024 were £593 for a divorce and £402 for an application for judicial separation.

What’s Included in Our Fixed-Fee Service

Our fixed-fee package includes the following services for both applicants and respondents:

  • Initial Consultation: A comprehensive review of your case to determine eligibility for the fixed-fee service.
  • Preparation of Divorce Petition: Drafting and filing the necessary legal documents.
  • Communication with the Court: Handling all correspondence with the court throughout the process.
  • Representation at Court Hearings: Attending any necessary court appearances on your behalf.

This means you can benefit from a wider range of support without incurring additional costs.

Is My Divorce Suitable for a Fixed-Fee Divorce?

While our fixed-fee divorce service is ideal for many clients, it may not be suitable for cases involving:

    • Complex Financial Disputes: If there are significant disagreements over property division, spousal maintenance, or child support.
    • Contested Child Custody Arrangements: If there are disputes over where the children will live or how visitation will be handled.
    • Domestic Violence or Abuse: If there are allegations of domestic violence or abuse, additional legal considerations may apply.

If your case falls outside the scope of our fixed-fee service, our experienced divorce solicitors can still provide tailored advice and representation to help you achieve a favourable outcome.
