The Person

Harveen is a keen cricketer and Member of Sheldon Marlborough Cricket Club where he attends weekly training sessions. He previously held the position of vice-captain when participating in local league matches.

In his spare time volunteers at a local Sikh temple to prepare meals and clean around the temple. He also assists in teaching Sikh history to young students through Sikh camps.

Meet Harveen Chopra

Litigation Executive

Harveen completed his bachelor’s in Law with Management from Aston University in 2022. Harveen has also completed his SQE 1 and currently awaiting to complete his SQE 2 Qualification.

He joined Witan Solicitors as a Litigation Executive in January 2024. After gaining in-depth experience in litigation for 6 months, he took a sabbatical leave to prepare for his SQE2 exams and returned to the firm in December 2024.

Harveen has over 2 years of experience of working on litigation matters having worked at another law local firm prior to joining us.

Harveen has successfully dealt with cases involving commercial Landlord & Teant Disputes, forfeiture of lease, and boundary disputes in the past. Harveen has assisted on complex dispute matters trialled at The High Court.

Harveen has a keen interest in wills, trusts, probate and contentious probate matters.

Harveen also has an interest in advocacy and takes every opportunity to represent clients in Court whenever possible.

Harveen also has extensive experience in day-to-day business having worked in his family retail business since a young age. This experience from a young age exposed him to learn the dynamics of commercial environment and critical thinking. The combination of his legal and commercial knowledge allows him to cater for the needs of his clients.

Harveen prides himself in ensuring that he can communicate effectively with people. He ensures this by using his own initiative and being flexible in his approach which then results in having satisfied clients and achieving their outcomes each time.
