Senior Litigation Executive

Felicity is a Senior Litigation Executive at Witan Solicitors. She joined the firm in October 2025 and brings strong litigation experience across commercial, property and insolvency disputes.

Felicity holds a First-Class LLB from the University of Birmingham and completed the Bar Practice Course at The University of Law, where she was graded Very Competent. She has since received an offer of pupillage, reflecting both the strength of her academic record and her ability as an advocate. Her practice at Witan focuses on commercial and civil litigation, with particular interest in breach of contract, company and insolvency disputes, property litigation, and contentious probate.

Shortly after joining the firm, Felicity assisted on a successful application for an injunction to halt the sale of a castle in the south of England, where receivers were proposing to sell the property at a price significantly below market value. The work involved an urgent application, careful evidential preparation and close coordination with counsel and demonstrated Felicity’s ability to operate effectively in time-critical, high-value litigation.

In commercial and insolvency matters, Felicity has advised on and drafted an injunction application to restrain the presentation of a winding-up petition for a property management company. The injunction was successfully obtained, and Felicity went on to apply for the dismissal of the petition, which the Court granted, with costs recovered on behalf of the client. She is also advising a high-net-worth European family on a substantial cross-border insolvency dispute, in which the firm is acting opposite tier-one City litigation practices including PCB Byrne and DLA Piper. Felicity is comfortable working at the intersection of commercial pressure and insolvency procedure, where the right strategic choice early on can be the difference between a saved business and a wound-up one.

Felicity has also undertaken her own advocacy in a contested property dispute, presenting submissions before the Court on behalf of the client. Her academic and Bar training, combined with her in-house advocacy experience, give her a confident and well-prepared style when on her feet.

In property litigation, Felicity acts in commercial and residential property disputes, drawing on the broad experience she gained at her previous firm. In contentious probate, she advises on disputes arising from the administration of estates and the validity of testamentary provisions, working with clients during what is often a sensitive and emotionally charged period.

Felicity enjoys dealing with complex legal problems that require detailed research and rigorous analysis. She is particularly known for her attention to detail when drafting and for her ability to explain complex legal principles clearly, in a way that clients find easy to understand. Her approach combines technical precision with a genuinely empathetic manner clients quickly find her approachable, responsive and committed to the outcome of their matter.
